Aunties make our world go round. This tee is to honour the aspects of aunty hood that we adore (mostly!) The aunties that say it like it is, have care oozing from every pore even while they maybe rolling their eyes, the effortless style for days, dry laughs and cuddly cries are to name just a few of our favourite Aunty feelings. Although “Aunty” can be charged with a whole lot of terrible moods, often a rejected term by Aunties themselves, we personally love being Aunties. We are here to embrace the role and literally wear it on our heart and sleeve. Power to the Aunty within us all.

Proceeds made from each purchase goes directly to the Shakti Shalini community. Shakti Shalini is an NGO based in Delhi, India that supports survivors of gender and sexual violence, and works with communities to prevent everyday violence towards women. Their ideologies are formed in opposition to wide-spread and dominant discourses of patriarchy and gender discrimination that affect all frameworks of society whether legal and economic or pedagogic and familial.
